This talk shares personal reflections and practical insights from the speaker's experience working as an actuary, with a central theme of “working with passion while maintaining balance and purpose.” Drawing inspiration from the idea that meaningful work involves both stewardship and enthusiasm, the presentation begins by discussing why choosing a career aligned with one’s interests and values is essential for long-term satisfaction. The talk follows that by mainly introducing the actuarial profession and highlights its key characteristics, including stability, strong income potential, high professional respect, and the ability to achieve a healthy work–life balance.
