Confluence of Oceans and Cultures-International Exchange Forum & MoU Signing Ceremony

When the ocean becomes a pathway, and culture becomes a language, connections across borders begin to take shape.
This forum centers on the theme of “Confluence of Oceans and Cultures,” bringing together key practitioners and knowledge holders from the Pacific voyaging world. Through traditional navigation wisdom, life stories, and cultural experiences, the event creates a space for deep dialogue across regions and communities.
A master navigator will share firsthand knowledge of ocean voyaging, joined by navigators and cultural practitioners from Guam, Palau, Japan, and Taiwan. 
Together, they will reflect on the relationship between the ocean and human life, highlighting Indigenous knowledge systems of wayfinding, memory, and survival.
The forum will also feature a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, marking an important milestone in international Indigenous cultural exchange and collaborative knowledge-building.
In addition, Indigenous dance and music performances, along with interactive cultural experiences, will invite participants not only to listen, but to engage with the living vitality of culture.
