位於日本石川縣能美市的北陸先端科學技術學院大學（Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, JAIST），為一所研究所型大學（無大學部）。目前約有1,100名碩博士生及約300名教職員，其中約46%的學生及25%的教授為外籍人士，展現高度國際化的校園環境。即使不具日語能力的學生，亦能在全英語授課的環境中順利完成學位。
國立東華大學與JAIST已於2025年7月簽署 JUMP（JAIST Partner University Master Connection Program）合作協議。依據本合作計畫，JAIST提供本校優秀大學部學生赴日攻讀碩士學位的機會，並享有入學金（一次性282,000日圓）及學費（每年535,800日圓）之減免優惠。
本次開放申請對象為目前就讀大學部四年級，且預計於2026年6月畢業之學生（以下簡稱「對象學生」）。2026年10月入學名額共計3名。

一、實習計畫
申請JUMP碩士班之學生，須於大學部期間完成實習。
實習名額：6名
實習時間：2026年2月（以線上方式進行）
實習內容：小型研究計畫，主題將於錄取後由學生與JAIST指導教授共同討論決定。
本實習為申請JUMP碩士班之必要條件，因此將優先錄取有意赴JAIST攻讀碩士學位之學生。
二、申請方式
有意申請本次JUMP實習計畫之同學，請於2025年11月10日（星期一）前，將以下資料及歷年成績單以電子檔形式繳交至國際處國際學生組：
-個人資料表
-申請動機說明（Statement of Purpose）
-英文或日文履歷表（CV）
-歷年成績單（含名次或GPA）
三、甄選與錄取
評選將綜合考量學生之在校成績、語言能力及整體表現等因素。
面試聯繫：JAIST教授將於2025年11月12日至11月底期間，可能以電子郵件與候選人聯繫，請務必確認信箱填寫正確並定期查收。
四、錄取公告：最遲於2025年11月底前通知錄取結果。
五、後續作業：錄取者須依JAIST要求準備相關文件，格式與繳交期限將由JAIST另行通知。

The Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), located in Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, is a graduate university (without undergraduate programs). With approximately 1,100 graduate students and 300 faculty and staff members, around 46% of students and 25% of professors are international (non-Japanese nationals), creating a highly international environment where students without Japanese language proficiency can successfully complete their degrees.
National Dong Hwa University and JAIST signed the JUMP (JAIST Partner University Master Connection Program) agreement in July 2025. JAIST offers outstanding undergraduates of National Dong Hwa University an opportunity to pursue a master's degree in Japan with exemptions from the admission fee (one-time 282,000 JPY) and tuition fees (535,800 JPY per year). For current fourth-year undergraduate students expected to graduate in June 2026 (hereinafter referred to as “eligible students”), three slots are available for enrollment in JAIST's master's program starting in October 2026.
To apply for the master's program through JUMP, completion of an internship during undergraduate study is a prerequisite. Six internship positions are available for eligible students. The internship will be conducted online in February 2026 , involving a small-scale research project whose specific topic will be determined after selection and consultation with the JAIST supervisor. Interested applicants should submit the following information and an academic transcript in electronic form to the International Student Division of the International Affairs Office by November 10, 2025.
Since this internship is a prerequisite for applying to JAIST's master's program through JUMP, priority will be given to students who intend to pursue a master's degree at JAIST. Selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic performance, language proficiency, and other factors. Between November 12 and the end of November 2025, candidates may receive contact from JAIST professors by email. Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly and check your inbox regularly. Notification of internship acceptance will be sent by the end of November at the latest. Successful applicants must then prepare additional materials required by JAIST, and detailed instructions regarding format and submission deadlines will be provided separately by JAIST.
