[心靈聽診器｜東華國際學生福祉與心理健康觀察分享]

你有過離鄉背井求學的經驗嗎？
在異地生活、讀書的過程中，思念、悲傷或沮喪從來不是一個人的問題。
打造國際學生友善的校園，需要每一位東華人的關心與行動。

東華校園目前有超過一千位國際學生，來自世界各國，在花蓮讀書、生活與體驗台灣的同時，也面臨文化差異與制度支持不足所帶來的挑戰。本次分享會邀請社會學系黃華彥副教授，透過訪談與研究，帶來他對國際學生心理健康與福祉的初步觀察，並指出這些挑戰其實反映了制度與結構的不足。

我們邀請所有關心國際學生心理健康與校園友善環境的同學與老師，一起參與討論，從日常經驗出發，推動改變。

[Stethoscope for the Mind: Observation Sharing on International Students’ Well-being & Mental Health]

To foster a more supportive and inclusive campus for international students’ mental health, we warmly invite you to join the upcoming session: Stethoscope for the Mind: Observation Sharing on International Students’ Well-being & Mental Health.

In this talk, Prof. Huang Hua-Yen (Dept. of Sociology) will share his research observations on international students, revealing how daily struggles could be shaped by systemic and institutional challenges. Through this dialogue, we hope to raise awareness of students’ needs and inspire actions for a more caring NDHU community.

Untuk menciptakan kampus yang lebih suportif dan inklusif bagi kesehatan mental mahasiswa internasional, kami dengan hangat mengundang Anda untuk bergabung dalam sesi mendatang: Stetoskop untuk Pikiran: Sharing Observasi Kesejahteraan & Kesehatan Mental Mahasiswa Internasional.

Dalam sesi ini, Prof. Huang Hua-Yen (Departemen Sosiologi) akan berbagi observasi penelitiannya tentang mahasiswa internasional, mengungkap bagaimana tantangan sehari-hari dapat dibentuk oleh tantangan sistemik dan institusional. Melalui sesi ini, kami berharap dapat meningkatkan kesadaran akan kebutuhan mahasiswa dan menginspirasi tindakan untuk komunitas NDHU yang lebih peduli.
