【活動延期日期公告】 大家好，我們是東華大學藝術中心 經過多次的討論，原定於4月12日（五）舉行「《搖擺年代！》安東尼奧哈特與東華大學音樂系爵士樂團」一活動，將確定延期至4月18日（四）辦理線上直播同步實體音樂會，因應藝術學院音樂廳尚未復電之情形，為了確保活動順利進行，我們將地點更改為藝術中心「東湖樂閣」。 除了線上直播的音樂會外，我們也將開放40個現場位置供報名，讓大家有機會近距離欣賞薩克斯風大師Antonio Hart與東華大學爵士樂團的精彩演奏，繼續用音樂撫慰東華人的心。 如果在活動舉行前收到藝術學院復電的消息，我們將重新評估情況，並可能再次更改活動地點為藝術學院，敬請密切留意我們的最新通知。 再次感謝大家的理解和支持，如有任何疑問請來電：03-8906606 或e-mail來信詢問：arts@gms.ndhu.edu.tw 詳細公告請參參考：https://artscenter.ndhu.edu.tw/p/406-1123-222503,r5125.php?Lang=zh-tw 藝術中心 敬上 【Event Postponement】 Hello everyone, this is the Arts Center of NDHU. After many discussions, the event, “Swing Era! Antonio Hart with NDHU Jazz Big Band”, which was originally scheduled for April 12(Fri.) will be postponed to April 18(Thu.), and we will livestream the concert while having a physical one at the same time. Due to the electricity problem, in order to ensure the event can go smoothly, the location will be changed to the Lakeside Glass House of Arts Center. The event will offer 40 on-site spots for admission to let everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the brilliant performance of the saxophone master Antonio Hart and the NDHU Jazz Big Band in a very short distance. We would like to continue to use the music to soothe the hearts of DongHwa people. If the power of College of the Arts is back before this event, the location might be changed back to the music hall of College of the Arts after we reassess the situation, please do pay close attention to our latest news. The admission will be closed once the quota is full. 藝術中心的國際列車即將抵達第二站！維也納後，下一站我們出發前往美國，進入《搖擺年代》，由榮獲葛萊美獎提名的爵士薩克斯風手-安東尼奧哈特（Antonio Hart）與國立東華大學音樂系爵士樂團一起，在4月18日晚間七點熱鬧的搖擺上演啦！ 出生於美國馬里蘭州-巴爾的摩市（Baltimore, Maryland）的Antonio Hart，從小就喜愛爵士音樂，在波士頓的Berklee音樂學院求學時師承Bill Pierce, Andy McGhee, Joe Viola三人，讓Antonio Hart認為理論與音樂兩者不可偏廢，也在獨自一人練習到深夜的每一天，體認到音樂的進步並非埋首練習就可以了，於是在大四時選擇了「音樂教育」成為他的主修課程。 從Berklee音樂學院畢業後，Antonio Hart繼續在Queens College攻讀碩士，也因此得以在Jimmy Heath與Donald Byrd底下學習。並在畢業12年後，回到母校正式成為教授，在全美、歐洲及亞洲等地持續舉辦各式講座及音樂活動，此外他也練習詠春拳，並且關注各種能夠刺激他靈感的音樂，以展現最佳的表演狀態。 喜愛爵士音樂的朋友們請把握這難得的機會，與三五好友相約一起來和Antonio Hart共渡美好的爵士之夜吧！ The international train of the Arts Center is arriving at the second stop soon! After Vienna, next stop we head to the United States and enter the “Swing Era”. Nominated for a Grammy Award, Antonio Hart, a jazz saxophone player, is going to swing lively with the NDHU Jazz Big Bandat 7 pm on 18th April! Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Antonio Hart has loved jazz music since he was a child. At the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Hart studied with Bill Pierce, Andy McGhee, and Joe Viola. This let him believe that neither theories nor music can be neglected, and he often practiced alone until late at night. During the process of practice, he realized that it was not enough to immerse himself in only practicing, therefore, he became a “Music Education Major” when he was senior. Antonio Hart continued his master degree at Queens College after graduating from Berklee College of Music. There he had the opportunity to learn from Jimmy Heath and Donald Byrd. 12 years later after graduating from Queens College, Antonio Hart returned to his alma mater and became a full-time tenured Professor, and continued to hold various lectures and music activities in the United States, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Hart also practices Wing Chun, and pays attention to any kind of music that inspires him, in order to give the best performance.
