奧克蘭大學位於密西根州大底特律區的奧克蘭郡，為州立研究型的綜合大學，專業設置多元-包括科學與應用科學學院、商學院、健康和醫藥學院、計算機與數學學院、藝術學院、工程與技術學院、社會媒體和傳播學院、人文科學學院等。由於奧克蘭大學鄰近工商業大城底特律，在公共政策、商業科目、生物醫藥、工程、教育學、以及國際關係等領域皆具有相當優勢。

奧克蘭大學英語中心(English as Second Language Institute)提供短期英語課程，各專業學院亦提供一學期專業課程(American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP)給國際學生，如同學想至美國學習，歡迎有興趣的同學參考附件及網站了解詳細課程內容及費用。

課程一
課程名稱：ESL Institute Program(ESL)
課程特色：
•	Full-time and part-time programs available
•	Courses offered in reading, writing, and speaking/listening.
•	Students do NOT receive academic credit for these courses; however, students may receive a certificate of completion for all ESL coursework completed.
•	Most visa holders are eligible for admission (contact esl@oakland.edu for eligibility questions).

課程二
課程名稱：American Semester Abroad Program (ASAP) 
課程特色：
•	Enroll full time--12 credits at the undergraduate level or 8 credits at the graduate level
•	Receive an official transcript and certificate of completion
•	Option to be a part of a team of student-entrepreneurs through Oakland University's Ideas to Business (I2B) program
•	Learn about future academic and career possibilities in the United States
•	Make connections with faculty and mentors in your field
•	Access to all university amenities – recreation center, library, student activities, lectures, sports and more
•	Visit international Fortune 500 companies
•	Enjoy planned excursions for shopping and sightseeing
