French Arts and Culture (New English-taught course from General Education) We invited a renowned French vocal teacher/ artists to open a English-taught course. The course will be able to register soon. If you are interested in French culture, join us! French Arts and Culture ( GC__64780 ) Time: Thur. 14:10~17:00 Advisor: Prof. Anne Rodier (羅安娜) Google Meet (for 9/23): https://meet.google.com/kts-cayo-uzj This class is a voyage through French culture. We will explore the Paris Opera with the Phantom of the Opera, visit Notre-Dame de Paris with Victor Hugo. We will discover the South of France with Van Gogh and the Belle Epoque with Picasso and many other artists. We will learn about French food and drink, cheese and wine and how Paris became the fashion capital of the world, as well as understand what is “La vie en rose” while walking through the streets of Paris. The course will be taught in English( with French accent!). There will be two exams and student participation is expected.
