【美國文化講座】
美籍教授帶你理解美國文化底蘊與現況：影視、運動、音樂、慶典儀式、科技法律、錢！

＊講座內容簡介：
Dr. Thomas Abel是佛羅里達大學人類學博士。Prof Abel興趣廣泛，學經歷豐富，目前是慈濟大學人文社會學院人類發展與心理學系的專任副教授。他的教學研究專長領域包含：環境人類學、演化人類學、認知人類學、電腦模擬等等。
Dr. Thomas Abel has been teaching courses such as Anthropology and the Environment, and the Evolution of Culture, and Child Language Development in the US and Taiwan. He likes history and ecology and technology and systems and geography as well as the many cultural ways we communicate with talk and TV and movies and, yes, sports and music, and ritual and science and laws and even money! During this June-10 speech, Dr. Abel will talk about any of the above-mentioned as it applies to American life. He will also talk about all of that in a big general way with some history and some maps, and with some video clips throughout. Every one of the NDHU community is welcome to join us to learn more about Americanism from a native-speaking American perspective. The speech is to be delivered in English.
