標題： 【轉知】海外志工機會 - from Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity(https://www.habitat.org/ap), a global non-profit housing organization. We began in 1976 as a grassroots effort in the US, and have since grown to become a leading nonprofit working in more than 70 countries. Habitat works both locally and globally to help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.       
  
Anchored by the conviction that housing provides a path out of poverty, we offer 'Global Village' overseas volunteer program, a volunteering experience to improve the living conditions of low-income families through home construction and maintenance services. Volunteer participants build houses together with friends, family members or classmates for people currently living in substandard shelter. Volunteers can join individually, based on our regular building schedule, or form a team of 12 or more people and customize location (Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Fiji, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and more than 50 countries over the world) and date. Trips are usually 5 - 12 days. No experience in construction is needed as we will have expertise in the site to guide the students which they will help to mix cement, lay bricks, move bricks etc. No limitation on number of teams to join per year. The length of the trip, the daily itinerary, accommodation, food and cultural activities can also be discussed based on your request and communication with the hosting office.
