【2018 NDHU Int’l Learning Experience Video Contest】 I. Purpose："2018 NDHU Int’l Learning Experience Video Contest” is aimed to invite all degree students in National Dong Hwa University (NDHU), to make videos of their short-term international learning experience outside of NDHU and Taiwan while studying in NDHU, to present the learning process and achievement. Video length is within 3-5 minutes. Winners will be awarded with prizes: 1st Place for NT$10,000, 2nd Place for NT$8,000, one 3rd Place for NT$5,000, several Excellent Awards for NT$3,000 each piece, and several Selected Awards for NT$2000 each piece. II. Organizer：International Academic Cooperation and Exchange Division (ICE), Office of International Affairs (OIA), National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) III. Participants：NDHU degree students who hold student status before 2018/12/31. Register as a group, there is no limitation regarding the number of group member. IV. Application Deadline：from now until 2018/10/31 17:00 V. Application Method： 1. Send the Registration Form (Appendix I, sign in person and scan to pdf format) and Video by email to ICE (ice@gms.ndhu.edu.tw) before the given deadline. One may also upload the video to Google Drive and send the address link. 2. Video that have won prizes in other contests or have been published are not eligible for submission. Please abide by Intellectual Property Right. Do not download or copy other people’s work. If there is any above violations verified and founded by OIA, the participant will result in disqualification. VI. Other Requirements：There is no limitation regarding the languages in the video, only that the video shall also provide both English and Chinese subtitles, and present the name of the shooting location/university clearly. VII. Video Selection：Videos related to NDHU internationalization or exchange programs have priorities. Contents (25%), shooting technique (25%), music and montage (25%), creativity, structure and presentation (25%) Awardees list will be decided by the committee, prizes may be decided without winners if needed. VIII. The property rights to the original digital files of all the videos for this competition will belong to ICE for the propaganda use in the future. IX. ICE keeps the rights to edit or suspend this event.
