Dear All:
“Biking for Dong Hwa” will be held on November 23 (Thurs), 2017. All faculty, staff, and students, particularly graduating students, are welcome to join the fun activity.
1. Course:
Approximately 20.2 km, starting from Dong Hwa to Liyu Lake, then back to Dong Hwa
2. Sign-up:
Free sign-up by November 17(Thurs) at http://www.student.ndhu.edu.tw/files/87-1007-153.php
3. Bike rental services will be provided for those who do not have a bike. The rental fee is 100 NT for each bike and has to be prepaid. Only 100 bikes are available and the priority will be determined by the sign-up & payment order. Helmets will be complimentarily provided upon a valid identification being verified and deposited.
4. Participants who have paid for a rental bike should bring the receipt and deposit an id (student or staff id) to claim the bike at 8am, November 23 in front of the Administration Building, return the bike by 12 noon at the same place, and take the id back. Any damage to the bike or helmet should be responsible by the renter.
5. Rental fees will be refunded should the activity be cancelled due to weather or other reasons.
6. Starting time and place: 8:30 am, November 23 in front of the Administration Building.
7. Gifts
1) All participants will receive gifts including a tail lamp and reflective sticker & wearing band.
2) Participants who complete the course will receive a souvenir T-shirt.
8. The activity and all participants will be insured. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person and nullify his or her result due to any violation, breach or non-observance of any laws or regulations. Any participant found to seriously fall behind (i.e., being unable to arrive at Liyu Lake by 11am) or have safety concerns will be escorted back to school.
