Rules of borrowing sport equipment, Physical Education Center, National Dong Hwa University

                                                                    Passed by PE Center’s council on Jun. 21, 2000 
                                                                   Passed by PE Center’s council on Oct. 11, 2017

1	In order to encourage this university’s faculty and students to cultivate sport habit, increase sport equipment utilization, discharge good administrator’s obligation, we hereby make the rules. 

2	The priority in borrowing sport equipment is as below : 
2.1	 Physical Education class.
2.2	 Intramural sport competitions and varsity team’s training.
2.3	 Intramural student clubs or organizations. 
2.4	 Faculty and Dong Hwa’s students.

3	When a sports class needs to use sport equipment can it designate a student to equipment room to fill in borrowing list and take out the equipment, return what borrowed immediately after class ends.

4	 When a sport competition needs to use equipment can its organizer borrow sport equipment 3 days prior to the activity, take out the equipment before the game, and get back what borrowed immediately after the competition ends.

5	 Equipment borrowing time is as below:
5.1	 08：30 ~ 11：30 and 13：30 ~ 17：00 Monday through Friday.
5.2	 09：00 ~ 11：00 during winter vacation and summer vacation.
5.3	 No borrowing during Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.

6	Dong Hwa’s students need to deposit their student cards, faculty their identification cards as a pledge to borrow equipment for 3 days’ use. Physical Education Center reserve the right whether to lend out or not that depends on there is enough equipment to make sure no impact on normal physical education classes.

7	 Borrower will forfeit the right to borrow for one semester if overdue twice or accumulated to 7 days or more, serious violator will be punished as per school’s relative regulations. 

8	 If borrowed equipment is damaged, borrower should be liable to repair the equipment to usable status. If it is irreparable, borrower should purchase same type equipment for compensation or indemnify in cash. 

9	Borrower wants to borrow sport equipment that has been borrowed out can make a reservation to Physical Education Center.  Staff in charge will notify the user to complete the borrowing procedure within 3 days, after that that reservation will be cancelled.

10	This rule will come into effect after passed by Physical Education Center’s council, as does its modification.
