2015東華春藝季~【紅與白】舞蹈空間舞蹈團
“Red & White” – Dance Forum Taipei

    2015東華春藝季將於3月26日晚間七點邀請「舞蹈空間舞蹈團」蒞校演出，本次《紅與白》演出為編舞家鄭伊雯與劉守曜導演的合作作品，將張愛玲筆下角色進行嶄新的詮釋，透過細膩的肢體舞蹈動作，將角色內心的矛盾掙扎，及對愛情的冀望、等待和衝突……等濃密交織的情緒加以呈現，是一場文學和舞蹈的跨界演出，歡迎有興趣的觀眾一同蒞臨東華大學活動中心演講廳欣賞演出！

    《紅與白》將張愛玲的筆下角色情感細密揉合進肢體的每一分延展當中，展現出浮世男女對於愛情中的慾望和癲狂，藉由飽滿的張力和極具爆發力的肢體語彙，讓觀眾濃密的被張愛玲字裡行間的情緒層層包裹。由劉倫達老師設計出低調奢華的舞台，配合櫻井弘二創作出情感豐沛的樂曲，和設計師林秉豪對於服裝獨到的精心見解，切分出幻妙的情感世界、投入冒險與危險的感官衝擊之旅。

    「舞蹈空間」是由第三屆國家文藝獎舞蹈類得主平珩於1989年創辦，作品風格豐富多元，以獨特細緻的柔韌技巧，屢獲歐美及亞洲專業舞蹈人士的青睞和讚賞。近年持續主辦並參加「校園巡迴系列」、「鄉鎮巡迴」、各類研習營……等藝術推廣活動，同時也和各國藝術家及舞蹈家合作交流，更受邀於法國里耳歌劇院、美國舞蹈節等地演出，積極參與國內外大小型的藝術表演，增加舞團在國際舞台表現的機會。

‘If you take the Red Rose as your wife, she will become a smear of mosquito blood on the wall as time passes yet the White Rose remains the “full moon shining bright in front of your bed”. If you take the White Rose, she becomes a grain of rice staining your shirt yet the Red remains the cinnabar mark within your heart.’ This was the commentary made by Ms Eileen Chang on both humanity and love in her classic novel, in which the main character, Zhenbao Tong, has had two women in his life. The two women perfectly represent very different human nature for one is Tong’s pure and innocent wife and the other is his enthusiastic mistress. As far as the present-world love is concerned, however, women are no longer absolutely red nor white. They are either “red with some touch of white” or vice-versa, aren’t they?

Ms Yi-Wen Cheng the choreographer and Mr. Shou-Yao Liu the director together have interpreted this renowned piece from a different perspective and incorporated in detail the intimacy as well as sentiment described by its author into each and every body movement in order to reveal the intense lust and struggles of the characters and to display the cravings and madness of ordinary men and women when they are in love. The audience are expected to be wrapped up layer by layer with the condensed emotions manipulated between the lines by its original author through witnessing the saturated and explosive body languages displayed by DFT’s performers. This adventurous and dangerous trip of visionary sensation is to be carried out on the under-tone but luxurious stage designed by Mr. Lun-Ta Liu featuring Mr. Bing-Hao Lin’s original costumes accompanied by Koji Sakurai’s affectionate music.
