新型傳染病伊波拉病毒衛教宣導
自103年3月非洲發生伊波拉病毒病例後，截至今疫情仍未受控制，美國日前已出現首例藉由旅遊造成之境外移入伊波拉病毒感染個案，因伊波拉病毒感染目前尚缺乏有效疫苗且疾病致死率高，宜暫緩前往疫區，如有必要前往時，應加強個人防護，避免至醫院探病或接觸病人。
該病毒傳播途徑透過人與人之傳染是因直接接觸到被感染者或其屍體之血液、分泌物、器官、精液；或是間接接觸被感染者體液污染的環境而感染。其初期症狀為突然出現高燒、嚴重倦怠、肌肉痛、頭痛與咽喉痛等，接著出現嘔吐、腹瀉、皮膚斑點狀丘疹與出血現象。重症者常伴有肝臟受損、腎衰竭、中樞神經損傷、休克併發多重器官衰竭，死亡率可高達9成。
其潛伏期長達21天，提醒近期自疫區返國之教職員工生，請確實做好自主健康管理21天，每日早晚應各量體溫一次，並詳實記錄體溫及活動史，如出現有高燒(≧38℃)、肌肉痛、頭痛、噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉、腹痛、皮膚斑點狀丘疹與出血等不適症狀，請立即佩戴外科口罩並通知衛保組2252~4(或2995)，或撥打國內免付費防疫專線1922(或0800-001922)洽詢並協助就醫，並主動告知醫師旅遊史及接觸史。

Ebola Virus Disease Travel Health Notice
Since the first Ebola case happened in march 2014 in West Africa, the epidemic has not yet been under control. Plus, the United States has recently found out their first Ebola case from a Liberian tourist. Because an effective vaccine has not been developed and the death rate is high, it is advised not to visit areas with Ebola outbreaks. If traveling to the epidemic areas is necessary, personal health precautions should be implemented and contacting with Ebola patients or visiting hospitals should be avoided .
The transmission of the virus from person to person is through direct contact to the infected persons or corpses’ blood, body fluids, organs, semen; or indirect contact to the environment which is contaminated with the infected persons’ body fluid. Ebola’s early symptoms are high fever, severe fatigue, muscle pain, headache and sore throat, etc., followed by vomiting, diarrhea, maculopapular rash and bleeding. Critical cases often develop severe liver damage, kidney failure, central nervous system damage, shock complicated by multiple organ failure. The mortality rate can be as high as 90 percent.
The incubation period of Ebola virus can be up to 21 days. To all the school staff and students who recently return from the epidemic area, please make sure to complete the self-monitoring protocol for 21 days. Body temperature should be checked every morning and evening and recorded, as well as your daily activities. If you experience fever (≧ 38℃), muscle pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, maculopapular rash, bleeding and other symptoms, wear a surgical mask immediately, inform Health Services Division at 2252~4(or 2995)and call the toll-free hotline 1922 (or 0800-001922) for help and medical assistance. Inform the doctor about your travel history and history of contact with other people.
