2013 English Drama Performance - Four Dogs and a Bone Time & Date: 19:00, 6/2, Sunday Admission: 18:30 Venue: Humanities and Social Sciences Building Ⅱ Auditorium FOUR DOGS AND A BONE is an acid-tongued satirical Comedy written by John Patrick Shanley, who's also been around the block in Hollywood. In FOUR DOGS AND A BONE, he takes a swift satirical bite out of deceit, treachery and shameless self-promotion in Hollywood. Shanley's brazen caricatures seethe with narcissism and ambition. In the play, sparks fly behind the scenes of a movie as four characters vie for advancement. Bradley, a desperate producer, wants to cut the script and the budget. Victor, a naive writer, is clinging to his artistic integrity. Collette, an embittered actress, and Brenda, a scheming starlet, are itching for more prominent roles. Both of them know that slight changes to the script could improve their career prospects remarkably. What will they do to help secure their aims?
