In order to ensure everyone's safety, after many discussions, the event, "The Sound of Tokyo Jazz - Hideo Oyama Quartet", which was originally scheduled for April 24(Wed.), will be held on the same date but changed to a live stream concert. Due to the safety considerations, the on-site spots will not be offered. E-mail：arts@gms.ndhu.edu.tw Sincerely, Arts Center --------------- #國際列車走向第三站：東京！ #聽了會著迷的爵士四重奏😍 #2024東華春藝季 《東京爵士之聲》大山日出男四重奏 《The Sound of Tokyo Jazz》Hideo Oyama Quartet ▸時間：2024年4月24日（三） 19:00 Time｜ 24.4.2024 (Wed.) 19:00 ▸演出：大山日出男四重奏Hideo Oyama Quartet 薩克斯風Saxophone｜大山日出男 Hideo Oyama 鼓組Drums｜藤山英一郎 Eiichiro Tohyama 鋼琴Piano｜吉岡秀晃 Hideaki Yoshioka 低音提琴Bass｜林煒盛 WenSheng Lin ▸直播連結： https://youtube.com/live/akUPj9QG40M?feature=share 藝術中心國際列車來到第三站：日本-東京。 由當代薩克斯風大師：大山日出男（Hideo Oyama）領軍來自日本的全明星級爵士音樂家們，包含鋼琴手吉岡秀晃（Hideaki Yoshioka）、鼓手藤山英一郎（Eiichiro Tohyama）及在台灣的貝斯手林煒盛（WeiShang Lin），將在4月24日，把美國東岸紐約的咆勃樂（bebop）帶到大家面前。 咆勃樂（bebop）是一種起源於20世紀美國紐約市的爵士音樂風格，並流傳到日本，經過萃取內化將近一個世紀後，成為了日本爵士樂的一部分。 在這次的音樂會中，除了演奏「Hard bebop年代」爵士樂傳奇大師，如：Horace Silver, Oliver Nelson, Phil Woods等人的作品外，也將演奏大山日出男自身創作的原創作品。大山日出男因為其父執輩與台灣的淵源，對台灣有一份真摯的感情，並衷心希望能以音樂為台日交流做一些貢獻，將這種象徵創新與自由的音樂，帶到台灣觀眾的面前，曲曲入魂，感動直達靈魂的最深處。 The international train of the Arts Center comes to the third stop, Tokyo, Japan. Led by contemporary saxophone master, Hideo Oyama, all-star cast of Japan jazz musicians, which includes pianist Hideaki Yoshioka, drummer Eiichiro Tohyama, and Taiwanese bassist WeiShang, Lin, will bring bebop, which was from New York on the east coast of the United States, to everyone on April 24th. Bebop is a jazz music style which originated from New York city in the United States in the 20th century. After spreading to Japan, being extracted and internalized nearly a century, bebop became part of Japan's jazz music style. In this concert, the Oyama Hideo Quartet will not only perform the masterpieces in Hard Bebop Era from such as Horace Silver, Oliver Nelson, Phil Woods,etc., but also the original works from Hideo Oyama himself. Because of the relationship in his father’s generation, Hideo Oyama has a sincere feeling for Taiwan.
