To comply with MOE’s (Ministry of Education) edict, missive no. 1090038359 dated Mar. 24, 2020 regarding response towards serious special contagious pneumonic pandemic (COVID-19), swimming pool of NDHU at Shoufeng campus has taken corresponding measures accordingly as follows: I.Effective from Apr. 1, 2020 onwards, swimming and aquatic classes will put in moratorium, swimming pool and its affiliated facility will close concurrently. The expected opening time of swimming pool falls on May 1, 2020 which is contingent on pandemic situation then, actual opening time will further notice from Physical Education Center. Please keep posted the latest updates through PE Center’s website. II.Take into consideration of pass holder’s right, we will extend pass’s validity days proportionately in relation to the period users cannot use during pool’s closure within their valid date of the pass. III.Refund of swim pass would be handled as per point 7, article V, Enforcement Rules for Swimming Pool & Affiliated Facility Management. However, viewing the caprices of pandemic and uncertainty of pool’s closure time, new graduates could lodge refund application as per above-mentioned rules during 09:00-11:00、13:00-15:00, Monday through Friday before deadline Apr. 30, 2020. Refund application passed the designated time frame will not be accepted. IV.In order to take into account pass holder’s right and maintain their exercise habits, pool pass holder could use instead facility inside Fitness Training Room in the Gym complex within the valid date of their pass, which we will ramp up sterilization and provide ethanol spray for sanitization. Should you be very concerned clusters, you could have done all self-protection measures before proceeding to workout, or you could choose to stay home.
