講座簡介：在追求永續發展和永續發展目標中，諸多政策倡議聚焦於測量的指標和預測。原住民族的經驗指出這些致力於同時追求永續性和社會正義者，應該仔細關注遷佔者社會的歷史和地理。藉此思考殖民摧毀的歷史如何建構出遷佔者社會認為理所當然及不得挑戰的地理。那些在殖民狀態下創造出的結構、關係和社會，現在養成新的摧毀、暴力和濫用。加深了很多人、地方和社區經驗的流離失所、毀壞和失去的非自然災難。本文目的在於召喚和激發思考及行動，來擾動遷佔者的支配，由於它們被視為理所當然和不可見，使正義和永續發展變得越來越困難。

Abstract ：

In pursuing sustainable development and the SDGs, many policy initiatives focus on measuring indicators and projections. Indigenous experience suggests that those committed to simultaneous pursuit of sustainability and social justice should pay careful attention to histories and geographies of settler societies. In the seminar, I reflect on the ways that histories of colonial plunder produced geographies that settler societies take-for-granted as settled and beyond question. The structures, relationships and societies created under colonial conditions now foster new geographies of plunder, violence and abuse. They reinforce the unnatural disasters of displacement, disfigurement and loss experienced by many people, places and communities. This paper aims to invite and provoke reflection and action that unsettles the taken-for-granted and often invisible privilege of settler dominance that renders just and sustainable development increasingly difficult.
