2018 Czech it Out Summer school: https://www.uhk.cz/en-GB/FIM/Departments/Institute-for-Further-Education/summer-it-business-course#UHK-Article Date: 2018/7/4-2018/8/3 The program fees: Tuition: 600 EUR Accommodation: 374 EUR (price for 34 nights) Socio-cultural activities + trips to Czech industrial companies: 100 EUR (Prague, Karlštějn, Nechanice castle, … ) and excursions to the industry companies – Foxconn, Skoda auto, etc. * Excluded from the fee are: Travel and living expenses such as: plane tickets, public transport costs, travel insurance, food and drinks. Discount The Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove offers the following discount: Early Bird Discount . Discount of €100 for students that apply and pay by 8 June 2018, 23.59 Central European Time. The payment details will be sent to you in January 2018. Registration: No direct application will be accepted from overseas students. The application process will be coordinated with the university coordinators. There are two main streams: 1) Course Programme Modern Information Technology (MIT) 2) Course Programme Business and Intercultural Studies (BIS) 3) Optional subjects – Czech language, English language, Russian language, Agent Based Modelling Students will be given 6 credits after finishing the summer school program. ( The program consists of teaching courses, academic talks and company visits) Daily schedule Monday to Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm Morning Session 12:00pm – 1:30pm Lunch 1:30pm – 4:30pm Afternoon Session The instruction is conducted from Mondays to Wednesdays, Thursdays - industrial visits in local prosperous companies, Fridays – academic talks and workshops, afternoon cultural program. Company Visit & Seminar Talk - Weekly company visits and seminar talks will be arranged with an aim to provide visiting students with knowledge in the obligations, roles and professional conduct of an engineer in a modern society. Eminent professionals are invited to deliver talks achieving the aims. Company visits to industry are organized for understanding the real-life environment about the management and organization, and trading practices of companies in the hosting countries/ areas. Academic Talk Academic Talk will be delivered in a relaxing atmosphere once a week for the first 3 weeks to give students a brief introduction of the latest research and technology development in the field. 有興趣報名的同學，請來信國際處註明系級、學號、姓名、聯絡方式，將由國際處提名給姊妹校。
