標題： Swimming outdoor pool of NDHU at Shoufeng resumes service on Oct. 4, 2016 (Tue), indoor pool has kept shut nonetheless.

Outdoor swimming pool of NDHU at Shoufeng campus has cleaned and restored up to par after typhoon Megi’s havoc, is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 4 (Tue) as usual. 

Nevertheless, indoor pool’s roof is still in a state of partly broken which could not be anticipated to be fully fixed in a short time. Considering electricity wires under roof could have insidious danger of short-circuit due to moisture or dangling slate might suddenly drop that compromises swimmers’ safety, indoor pool has kept shut since last week typhoon’s pounding and will be closed until further notice.

Outdoor swimming pool and auxiliary weight training room/aerobic fitness room will open as usual from Oct. 4 on. (Outdoor pool is shut as usual in the night time)

Physical education swimming course, elementary and junior high schools’ specially contracted swim-learning classes, continuing and extension classes that use indoor swimming pool will all be suspended, make-up courses will otherwise arrange.

Once indoor pool is fully repaired, we will further notify its opening time, please follow swimming pool managers’ instruction during the intervening period of time. Your understanding and cooperation is much appreciated.
