2016 Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) International Summer School Program a. Date & Venue Date: July 10 - 23, 2016 (July 10 for registration) Venue: No.1 Zhanlanguan Rd., Xicheng District, Beijing b. Fields and Courses architecture, civil engineering Each containing around four courses with three of general knowledge or basics related to the field and from one to three of Chinese culture or language courses. c. Course Selection International students can sign up through persons in charge at their universities before May 1. Every international students can earn one credit or one and half credits for a course that lasts from 16 to 24 contact hours. Every international student is allowed to choose only one field. d. Evaluation & Certificate International students passing all the selected courses at BISP will obtain certificates and official transcripts jointly issued by the Academic Affairs Office and the School of International Education of BUCEA. Credit transfer and mutual recognition will be based on the universities’ international cooperation agreement. e. Visa Application Upon receiving the registration information of an international student, we will send invitation letters to the person in charge at overseas universities, by virtue of which the invited international student can apply for a visa. f. Fees & Payment Mode Tuition Fee: 5,000 yuan / person (accommodation and food included) Housing: on-campus Foreign Affairs Apartment (Shared accommodation: two or three students one room) Dining: university canteen g.
