【Int'l】5/7 Culture Tour: Luan-Shan Forest Museum in Taitong

40-minute drive from downtown Taitung, there is a magnificent forest in mountainous Dulan, south of the Costal Range in eastern Taiwan. It is the most well-conserved mid and low altitude mixed species forest. 
Today, the residents have all moved away, but the tribal site remains. Thus it was turned into an open-air forest museum with no fences, buildings or electricity at all, so that the surrounding forest may be kept. This makes museum look like a scene from the film Avatar.
Museum director Aliman and his tribal friends have been systematically protecting the forests, especially the precious giant Banyan trees. They hold environment protection and culture reconstruction educational activities, cross-tribal events, tribal stays, outdoor spiritual workshops and ecological tours, so as to connect more with the public and bring their attention to forest conservation. Welcome to enjoy its beauty from God!

1.	Event Date：Saturday, May 7, 2016
2.	Gathering place：Parking Lot, West Community House, NDHU 2016/4/7(Sat.) 06:00am. Buses will leave at 06:10 am and we do not wait for anyone who is late.
3.	Qualification：International Students in NDHU (including exchange students, foreign students, overseas Chinese students and main-land China students.)
4.	How to go：Go and return by the rented bus; locally move by feet.
5.	Expense：NT 700 (including transport, Traditional lunch, insurance fee and Luan-Shan Forest Museum interpreter fee and Tikets. Dinner on own in Yuli Town. And there will be no refund once you cannot attend the event.)
6. Payment Start：10：00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2016 (first Come, first In)
