2015東華春藝季~ 陳明章二音和弦系列《月光暝》校園巡迴講唱會
“Moon Night” – Ming-Chang Chen’s Two-Notes Chords Series Campus Tour

　　接續於北中南臺灣巡迴的腳步，陳明章老師《月光暝》重返校園講唱會已經來到了最後一站、也是東臺灣唯一的一站─東華大學藝術中心。這一晚，老師將用汲取自臺灣土地生命中最醇厚的音樂創作，在花蓮夏日夜晚的星空下為東華帶來一趟臺灣音樂的尋根之旅。

　　求學時期便熱衷學習吉他的陳明章，受到1980年代本土意識覺醒的浪潮影響，開始思考什麼是臺灣的音樂，加上臺灣的傳奇素人歌手陳達與二二八事件的影響，開始創作以臺語為主的母語歌。其後為侯孝賢導演的《戀戀風塵》製作電影配樂，西洋的樂器有著東方的靈魂，《戀戀風塵》便一舉在1987年法國南特影展中獲得最佳電影配樂，為臺灣首部在國際影展奪下配樂獎的電影。

　　此後的幾十年間創作不輟，孩提時廟口前的布袋戲及歌仔戲的口白聲調、南北管的鑼鼓與旋律都是他靈感的泉源，濃厚的本土文化薰陶成就他創作的基石。為雛妓議題而做的《伊是咱的寶貝》、走唱歌手金門王、李炳輝的招牌歌曲《流浪到淡水》、以及黃妃的經典動感臺語歌曲《追追追》都是陳明章膾炙人口的作品。現今致力於推廣月琴的陳明章，希冀能以這一草根性濃厚的樂器向已故歌手陳達看齊，讓曾經是臺灣民謠中不可或缺的部分再次被喚起，成為新世代的你我共同的記憶。

“The musical instruments and musical composition that grow from the earth is the long-lasting mother river of arts and culture.” Mr. Ming-Chang Chen’s debut O.S.T. album, “Dust in the Wind” won the Best Score Award from the 1987 Festival of the Three Continents for the unique eastern flavor revealed from his guitar. The source of Mr. Chen’s music basically comes from Taiwan’s traditional elements; that is, the various types of traditional operas he listened to in his childhood in front of the shrine in his hometown; he then sweetly and smoothly introduces them into his music. In this singing/narrating visit to National Dong Hwa University, Mr. Chen will give the NDHU audience their firsthand feeling of the power of music through his profoundest performance as well as necessary explanations. By sharing the unique sound coming from the interlacing of traditional and modern music, it is expected to ignite the energy within grassroots culture and activities to unlock the power of the next-generation arts and culture.
