2014東華秋藝季將與國立藝術教育館合作，將於11月12日至30日於東華大學湖畔藝術特區舉辦「【2014年全國學生圖畫書創作獎】原畫巡迴展及推廣活動」活動，要透過一本本獨一無二的創作故事與繪製圖畫，和大家分享天馬行空的創造力與源源不絕的想像力！
圖畫書結合了繪畫及文字，在寫實中尋找想像的爆發點，如國小高年級組黃愉婷同學的「阿公去哪裡?」、國小中年級組洪于翔同學的「神奇牙膏」、國小低年級組許智崎同學的「我家多了一個ㄊㄚ」……等得獎作品，利用創作抒發日常生活的所見所感，自然質樸不造作，再融入個人創意發想，使圖書畫更加趣味橫生、感動人心！這些作品讓人眼睛一亮，也獲得評審的高度青睞！
【全國學生圖畫書創作獎】已邁入第九年，本次競賽共有357所學校1,875名學生參與，參選件數1,437件，得獎作品共136件(含特優、優選、佳作及入選) ，充分展現出學生們藝術與人文源源不絕的創造力。鑒於這份熱情，主辦單位將帶著本屆入圍的諸多優異作品來到花蓮東華大學，希望透過展覽的方式，與大家一同分享創作樂趣，以及孩子令人驚豔的想像魔力！

Igniting the Imagination: “2014 Nationwide Students’ Picture Book Creation Award” – Original Paintings Exhibition and Promotion Tour

How REALISTIC, how SIMPLE, and how UNRESTRAINED the feeling can be if you are about to read the picture books “manufactured” by students (from creating stories to drawing the pictures) and filled with incredible imagination!? And yes, such FEELING has been absorbing and accumulating the energy for nine years now waiting to be ignited.
The awarding ceremony of the “2014 Nationwide Students’ Picture Book Creation Award” organized by the National Taiwan Arts Education Center has been held in October. There have been over 12 thousand “masterpieces” created by almost 15 thousand students ranging from elementary schools to universities to show not only their incredible imagination as well as artistic power, but also their cultural heritage. In light of that, the NTAEC has organized an exhibition tour in Taipei, Taichung, Hualien, and Kaohsiung, featuring the finest selection from the 2014 awarded pieces hoping to share with those who love picture books the unrestrained imagination of the authors, to taste the fun of creating, and develop children’s ability to tell stories from browsing pictures. If you want to explore the beauty of picture books with your children or students, you won’t want to miss this great opportunity!
