2014東華秋藝季~10/23【同黨劇團】白水

時間：2014年10月23日 (四)  19:00  (18:45開放自由進場)
地點：東華大學學生活動中心演講廳

    繼去年《我的妻子就是我》一劇演出大受好評後，<同黨劇團＞將再度於10月23日造訪東華大學，帶來今年秋季的最新作品 —《白水》！

    《白水》是<臨界點劇團>的經典之作，為素有「臺灣小劇場鬼才編導」之稱的田啟元的代表作之一，也是臺灣劇場的經典之作，其以中國的傳說故事《白蛇傳》為根基，進行劇情的開展。而此次在<同黨劇團>的製作中，由導演邱安忱進一步拆解田啟元的劇本，帶領四位女演員分別飾演法海、白蛇、許仙以及青蛇，以法海的虛偽道德正義出發，進一步把田啟元時期，曖昧難言的同志議題，延展成「恐同」議題。

    <同黨劇團>創立於2001年，近年作品以真人、戲偶、面具、多媒體創作為主軸，更積極拓展藝術領域，邀請各界藝術工作者前來合作、交流，在這樣多方創意者激盪出的火花下，不僅曲目及演出屢受好評、多次獲獎，更於2012年被遴選為文化部的扶植團隊，同時也在過去兩年主辦的當代經典讀劇節，獲得眾多正面迴響與肯定，期望深耕台灣本土並發掘更多台灣新勢力劇作家。

“The Party Theatre Group” – White Serpent

‘Who’s there standing the test of time?’
‘Who’s there confused and disoriented because of love?’
‘Who’s there playing the matchmaker?’
‘Who’s there having a change of heart?’

The somniloquish whispers of Fahai……is it because of jealousy, envy, or the three unwholesome roots in his head?
Breaking up the unacceptable love between a man and a snake……is he upholding the morals or, is he trying to save the disoriented self?

The White Serpent is one of the classics performed by the “Critical Point Theater Phenomenon”; the play is based on a famous Chinese tale, the Legend of the White Snake. This time, however, An-Chen Chiu, the director of “The Party Theatre Group”, is determined to tear apart the original script written by Chi-Yuan Tian. In addition to taking out the chorus, the entire play begins from Fahai sitting alone on the stage full of remorse and then one after the other comes the White Snake, the Green Snake, Xu Xian, etc., as if the images of those characters appearing in Fahai’s mind. The Party Theatre Group on the one hand preserves the concepts of physical bodies and genders that Director Tian injected into the Premiere in 1993 as his political critique, and on the other hand extends Tian’s ambiguous homosexual theme further into the fear of homosexuality in this 2014 version through the hypocritical morals and justice of Fahai.
