Dong Hwa Cup badminton competitions 2014
1. Objective: competitions held in celebration of Dong Hwa’s 2067 anniversary, to upgrade sports ambiance on campus, increase interactivities, cordiality among faculty, staff and students, popularize badminton sports, cultivate team spirits etc.
2. Hosted by: preparatory committee of Dong Hwa’s anniversary celebration.
3. Organizer: Physical Education Center, National Dong Hwa University.
4. Co-organizer: badminton varsity team.
5. Competition date: Oct. 24 (Fri) ~ Oct. 26 (Sun), 3 days in total.
6. Competition venue: gymnasium of NDHU at Shoufeng campus.
7. Qualification:
(1). Certified faculty, staff, janitor and caretaker.
(2).Contracted personnel, caretaker and adjunct teachers.
(3).Enrolled students of 2014-1 semester.
(4). Body condition: physical examination by hospital that ascertains contestant’s sex and fitness for drastic exercise.
8. Competition category:
(1) Average general group: including faculty and students who are in the same department and unit, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
(2) Open group: including faculty and students from different departments and units, men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles
(3) Faculty group: men’s doubles, mixed doubles, women’s doubles, and each person could sign in only two events.
9. Deadline of sign-up: by 14:00, Oct. 13, 2014 (Mon)
