2014東華秋藝季~【董運昌】湖畔校園音樂會

        悠揚純淨的木吉他聲中，給人充滿詩意的情境，被喻為吉他詩人的董運昌，將在2014東華秋藝季將於10月1日晚間七點蒞臨東華大學湖畔藝術特區，為大家帶來一場詩情畫意的音樂饗宴。
        董運昌是一位木吉他演奏家，他的音樂像河水般涓涓細流，擁有古典樂的氣質，從指間流瀉出的音符，十分的耐人尋味。董運昌曾榮獲第10屆、14屆和第16屆金曲獎最佳流行音樂演奏專輯獎得主以及第14屆、24屆金曲獎最佳專輯製作人提名、第22屆金曲獎演奏類最佳作曲人提名。成名作有：藍山咖啡九份篇廣告曲《聽見藍山的味道》、《下午三點四十分》等。曾發行「聽見藍山的味道」、「城市冥想」、「那年我們彈吉他」、「第三十三個街角轉彎」、「Happy Way」、「那不勒斯藍色夜」、「董運昌獨奏精選」、「吉他烏托邦」、「在第三十三街角與你相遇」等專輯。
        董運昌為台灣帶領指彈吉他的先驅，其用音樂表達內在的思維，樂句中帶有豐富的內涵和情緒張力，風格不受任何形式的拘束，多種元素融合，使得他的音樂豐富而有層次，給予觀眾餘音繞樑般的感動和無限的遐想空間。董運昌將在美麗的東華校園裡，與大家一起分享動人心弦的音樂，進入無限的音樂想像空間。

Dong Yun-Chang” – Lakeside Concert

    He is the pioneer in Taiwan’s finger-style guitar playing, also known as the ‘Guitar Poet’. His current posts include the President of “Play Ear Music”, and the founder of “Utopia Guitar Contest” meanwhile he produces music albums, edits and plays music.

    He graduated from the Department of Industrial Design, National Cheng Kung University and pursued further education at the Berklee College of Music. At university he served as the post of the Guitar Club’s President. In addition to singing at some music restaurants as part-time job, he strived for the promotion of campus music, and actually created a trend of campus music in southern Taiwan.

    He was the winner of the “Best Instrumental Album” in the 10th, 14th, and 16th Golden Melody Awards, was nominated for the “Best Album Producer” in the 14th and 24th Golden Melody Awards, and was nominated for the “Best Instrumental Composer” in the 22nd Golden Melody Awards. His fame-making works were “Hear the Taste of Blue Mountain” and “Three Forty P.M.”. He has made a great number of albums, “Blue Mountain”, “Urban Meditation”, and “Years with Guitar” were published by SONY, “At the 33rd Street Corner”, “Happy Way”, and “Napoli Blue Night” were published by Wind Music, “Guitar Solo Collection”, “Guitar Utopia”, “Meet You at the Corner of 33rd Street”, “Magic Ukulele”, and “Vintage Fingerstyle Guitar” were published by Play Ear Music.

    For many years he has been working with renowned vocalists on making albums and delivering live performances. He is the only Asian guitarist appointed by Kevin Kern the New-Age pianist to work with.

    He founded the “Utopia” and held the “Utopia Guitar Contest” in 2011, and has been promoting finger-style guitar playing since.
