劇情簡介：
曾紅極一時的驚悚劇作家席妮‧布羅，遭逢著文思枯竭、經濟拮据之雙重危機。她的學生凡妮莎‧安德森寄來了一份前途無量的劇本《死劫》。她丈夫西索‧布羅深感機不可失，敦促席妮尋求與凡妮莎合筆的機會。然而除了合作之外，席妮似乎在暗中籌畫些什麼；一個邪惡的念頭佔據了這位驚悚劇作家的腦袋：「如此我便能獨佔劇本了。」

Living in a well-decorated colonial style house, a once famous and successful thriller playwright, Sidney Bruhl, is currently undergoing a rather dry period of creation. Both she and her husband, Cecil Bruhl, know that their finances have become a problem. When anewly-finished promising thriller arrives in Sidney’s mail box, Cecil notices that it is a chance they cannot afford to miss. The thriller, Deathtrap, is written by Vanessa Anderson, astudent from Sidney’s seminar. However, Sidney seems to be planning for more than just collaboration. In fact, a tempting idea takes over Sidney’s murder planning mind: to have this splendid script under her own name.
