標題： New smoking areas at the East Community House、Environment Studies Building and Community Center, while the smoking area at the Library moved to the Student Activities Center.

1.	According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention ACT, smoking in the outdoor areas of university is prohibited except at the designated locations, and smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. 

2.	Violators shall be penalized by a fine of not less than NT$ 2,000 but not more than NT$ 10,000.

3.	The smoking area/zone is within 4 meters in front of the designated smoking sign.

The smoking area originally at the Library entrance was moved to the Student Activities Center.

Don’t litter cigarette butts. Please leave them in the ashtrays. Make sure you have put off cigarette butts.

Please lower your volume in the smoking areas and keep the campus quiet and serene. Thank you for your cooperation!!

Smoking harms your health, and let us preserve the environment and safety altogether.

4.	Smoking is completely prohibited at the dormitories、laundry areas、academic zone、administration buildings. Please follow the regulations.

5.	Designation of smoking areas in each new building will be evaluated by relevant academic and administrative offices, and will be passed by the committee. Once the locations are approved by the audit group of Tobacco Hazards Prevention of Bureau of Health, we will set up the areas and announce the information. The locations of the smoking areas will be reconsidered if there is any environment or safety concern.
